We watched an episode from Season 9 of Silent Witness called Choices. In this episode there was three different plot lines in which two merged together. The first plot line is of a drive-by shooting and the investigation of it. The second is of a young boy in cahoots with a member of the gang which is thought to be involved in the drive-by shooting. Another man is shot dead and the team believe the gun used is the gun the young boy has. The third is where a decomposed body is found during the investigation of the shooting. The body is found in a warehouse where the car used in the shooting was found. A police officer discovers this body and the investigation to what killed the person and how she ended up in the crate started.

The opening scene was the drive-by shooting. The first thing we see is Ainsley Modest and his new fiancee, Helen in a car talking. Helen gets out the car first and heads over to the nightclub where her friends is waiting. While they are fawning over Helen's engagement ring, Ainsley notices a car, but stands in his spot. The car drives by the nightclub firing out numerous gunshots, killing two people. Helen is shot and falls into her friend.

The characters involved in the opening scene were Ainsley Modest, Helen, Harry Cunningham and Nikki.
